The Minnesota chapter of the National Lawyers Guild is dedicated to supporting local protest movements and direct actions through coordinating legal support. Most recently, the NLG MN has been working to provide legal support in response to the Minnesota Uprising that occurred after the brutal and tragic murder of George Floyd. During the uprising the NLG MN assisted with coordinating legal observers and jail support as well as legal support for those that were arrested.
